Like her sister ship, the Azamara Quest is a mid-sized beauty with a deck plan well-suited to the needs of modern voyagers. In addition to going to the most celebrated destinations on Earth, youll also go to less-traveled ports, enjoy scenic rivers and waterways that are off-limits to big cruise lines, and sail to the doorstep of great cities like Seville, Hong Kong, and Bordeaux.
You'll never feel crowded in the comfortable social spaces of her bars, restaurants, and lounges. Youll love the genial club-like atmosphere and the way the attentive staff and crew get to know you. And youll feel the same friendliness with your fellow voyagers.
Staterooms feature modern amenities, furnishings, and European linens. And one of the greatest features of this ship is the large number of staterooms with verandas. There's nothing better than opening your door to the fresh sea air and views.
Azamara's friendly ships are an altogether wonderful place to call your home away from home!

Exclusive Shore Event: Da Nang (Hue) | Hoi An Overview with Lunch at a Chef's Home
We will begin our day by meeting our guide and drive to Hoi An. Between the 17th and 19th centuries, Hoi An was a prosperous trading port. Today, this World Heritage-listed ancient town boasts well-preserved buildings, pedestrianized streets and unique cuisine, allowing visitors a glimpse of its illustrious past. The narrow lanes are ideal for a guided walking tour.
We will meet with an expat scholar who has been studying Hoi An history and culture and lifestyle for almost 15 years. We will walk around the ancient town to visit the old merchant's houses with influences from Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese architecture where there is a chance to chat with the family members to grab a glimpse of the history and culture of Hoi An under different perspectives; the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge; the Assembly Hall of the Chaozhou Chinese Congregation with outstanding wood carvings; and the colorful market with stalls brimming with local specialties including silk, which can be turned into fashionable garments within a day or two.
After the walking tour, we will stop at a small workshop to see and learn how traditional Vietnamese noodles are made. This shop is part of a social enterprise which helps disadvantaged youth in Central Vietnam.
Next, we drive to the peaceful rural outskirt to visit the private home of the celebrated chef Duc Mango for an interactive home-hosted lunch with his family. Back to more than a decade ago, Hoi An town was dominated with uninspired tourist restaurants. This talented chef is the first to bring fusion cuisine to Hoi An thanks to his 12-year journey travelling and cooking around the globe.
Relax in his traditional style house decorated with colorful mosaics of fish and flowers and a view of nearby mountains and rice paddies. You will have chance to savor fresh fish, meat and organic vegetables grown by his neighbors. Chat with him and his family to share the passion of food and his in depth knowledge on the Vietnam food scene as well as his journey around the world. We will then enjoy a 3-course homemade lunch cooked in front of you. Duc will select the best Hoi An specialties from what he can get from the neighbors and market that day.
After lunch we will return to the ship.
Approximate Length: Seven hours.
Suggested Attire: Casual, light clothing with comfortable walking shoes. Flat level terrain and light to moderate walking.
