Like her sister ship, the Azamara Quest is a mid-sized beauty with a deck plan well-suited to the needs of modern voyagers. In addition to going to the most celebrated destinations on Earth, youll also go to less-traveled ports, enjoy scenic rivers and waterways that are off-limits to big cruise lines, and sail to the doorstep of great cities like Seville, Hong Kong, and Bordeaux.
You'll never feel crowded in the comfortable social spaces of her bars, restaurants, and lounges. Youll love the genial club-like atmosphere and the way the attentive staff and crew get to know you. And youll feel the same friendliness with your fellow voyagers.
Staterooms feature modern amenities, furnishings, and European linens. And one of the greatest features of this ship is the large number of staterooms with verandas. There's nothing better than opening your door to the fresh sea air and views.
Azamara's friendly ships are an altogether wonderful place to call your home away from home!

Exclusive Shore Event: Phuket | Highlights of Phuket with Festive Lunch
The name Phuket (pronounced "Poo-ket" is a variation on a Thai translation of the Tamil word "manikram", used long ago by visitors from India meaning "Crystal (or jewel like) City". The oldest mention of Phuket in ancient maps and texts is from Ptolemy in the early 3rd century A.D., identifying the island as a well known stop among sailors traveling the "golden land" of Southeast Asia.
Our day begins with a visit to a local rubber plantation where we will see a demonstration of the process of collecting the sap from the trees before it is turned into natural rubber.
We will then take in the sights of Wat Chalong, one of the island's most famous temples. Here stands that statue of Luang Por Cham, who helped the people of Phuket put down the Ahngyee or "Chinese Coolie Rebellion" on 1876 during the reign of Rama V. We will also see statues of Luang Por Chuang, and Luang Por Gluam, monks who were abbots of the temple during later times, and who are still revered today and receive offerings by the people of Phuket.
After our visit to the temple, it will be time for our wonderful luncheon! We will drive up to Rang Hill in Phuket town for lunch at Tung Ka Restaurant, an open-air restaurant set in a tropical jungle atmosphere on the hill where you can see all of Phuket city. After enjoying a lunch of local specialties we will return to the ship.
Approximate Length: Five hours, 30 minutes.
Suggested Attire: Casual resort wear, light clothing and comfortable walking shoes recommended. No shorts, short skirts or bared shoulders shirts can be worn in Wat Chalong Temple. Shoes must be removed to enter the halls of the Wat Chalong Temple. Moderate walking required over some stairs and inclines. Not recommended for anyone with limited mobility or wheelchair users.
